wine auction Amsterdam 14 December 2014

The next fine and rare wine auction in Amsterdam is on Sunday 14 December 2014. We can look forward to a wonderful collection of Rhône wines from the best houses such as Chapoutier, Chave and Guigal. Next to that a selection of topwines will be offered, such as Château Margaux, Château Lafite-Rothschild, Château Pétrus and Château Mouton-Rothschild. Besides these wines, the auction contains a great collection of beautiful "drinking wines" from various houses. The Burgundy segment is headed by great wines from Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé and Romanée Conti.

For clients who don’t have the opportunity to visit the auction, Winefield’s offers the possibility to bid LIVE online in the auction. This allows you to follow the auction LIVE with both image and sound in real time, if you were sitting in the sale room. Through this way you can ensure that your bids on the desired wines are guaranteed successful.

online absentee bidding

To make the process of bidding easier for you, you can now also contribute in the auction with our online absentee bidding service. Please fill out your details on the form and include the lot numbers and your maximum bid. The auctioneer will then bid at the auction on your behalf on the desired lots up to your maximum bid. There is a chance that you'll win the lots at the lowest possible price, but never above the maximum price you want to bid! To process all online and written bids in time, we request to submit all bids 24 hours before the auction begins. Please find here the online bidform.

NEW: Intermediate Level 2 in English

The Intermediate wine course offers a solid foundation and knowledge of all wine regions, from Bordeaux to Victoria, covering all aspects of viticulture and winemaking.

Full attention is given to the WSET ® Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting.

This course consists of eight lessons, each lasting three hours, and ends with an exam. Aside from attending all your classes, you are also required to complete about 20 hours of independent study for the entire course.

The successful completion of this course is rewarded with the internationally recognized WSET ® Intermediate Certificate. Click here for the full course description.
